Farewell Party
On Saturday 10 July a Farewell Party was held for the Wright Family. Nigel Wright has been our Minister for 4 years, while Nigel's wife, Heather has been working as a Families and Youth Worker. The Wrights are leaving at the end of July to take up new ministries in Leighton Buzzard.

Gift Day raises
£ 6705 for new boiler

Very many thanks to all who contributed to our Gift Day on 19th June. The sum of £6,705 has been received to date, which, with the funds already in hand, and gift-aid to be claimed, will enable us to go ahead with the installation of a new boiler for the Vallins Hall.

We are a community of Christian people who seek to worship God, love one another, work in partnership with other Christians & offer Christian caring.

Banstead is situated just south of London and just inside the M25. Banstead is the largest of a group of villages at the north end of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

The church is just to the west of the village next to the A217, the Brighton Road.

Banstead Methodist Church is a member of the Banstead 5 Churches, an ecumenical group of 1 Roman Catholic, 1 URC, 1 Methodist and 2 Anglican churches who have signed a covenant to work together in Banstead.

The Methodist Church is a Christian denomination founded by John and Charles Wesley in the Eighteenth Century. For more information on the Methodist Church, go to www.methodist.org.uk
